Changed for the Better

Oakendell has changed my life for the better in many ways. I spent a good portion of my life there, and as much as I hate to admit it, I needed it. When I got there I knew I wasn't going to be the same person I was before. I personally had my struggles, but no one cared more than the staff there. I was angry and hated the world growing up, but being at Oakendell, working things out instead of hiding my true feelings made me into the man I am today, I am a very peaceful and understanding individual and a very productive citizen today. For the first time in my life I am proud of who I have become, and I owe it all to the support of Oakendell's staff. Without Oakendell, I dont know who I would be today, but I am happy that I had the opportunity to be there. There are a lot of staff there that have really impacted my life and I owe it to them and myself to continue to improve myself and make myself into an even better person.
